The Dawnikan Empire

The Dawnikan Empire is a aggressive and militaristic empire formed out of the remnants of the Dawnikan refugees from Menosophia. Their bitter ruler established the empire in the outer reaches of the void, before conquering many planets that were once free worlds.

Empress of the Dawnikan Empire

Queen Isabella V

Her origins lay dormant for centuries, but it is believed that she was born on Menosophia during the age of the Anduwin.

As such, she claims sovereignty over the planet, a call that in recent years the Free Republics has vehemently denied her. Previously, the planet had vanished, over 18,000 years ago.

Although she is the first and only ruler of Dawnika as its reformed empire, in that she is its founder and one supreme ruler – she insists that she is actually the fifth ruler, by right and that the dynasty long precedes her on Menosophia.

She has overseen many technological enhancements including the construction of over 100 Dreadnaughts, large astral jumping vessels that patrol the universe. He technology is far superior to the Gith vessels, and the Free Republics do not possess that kind of strength at all. The Netheraán however, destroyed a Dreadnaught some one hundred years ago with relative ease, although no one survived to account as to how.

Territories

Not much is known of the planet of Dawnika the capital world, or how it came to be such a desolate wasteland, but most wager that the destructive ambitions of the its leader, Empress Isabella are mostly to blame for this worlds abhorrent state.

The Dawnikan Expansion is a set of three planets illustrated on the top right hand corner of the sector map that were captured from free states that had not aligned with any major power, and due to their stubbornness had refused the help of the Free Republics. The result is that now the empire holds a position that sandwiches The Free Republics, gives a closer front line with the Netheraán and blocks the Free Republics from access to the nether worlds of old, a place of important magical study.

Diplomacy

Unfriendly

Free Republics

The Empire has struck a uneasy non aggressive pact with the Free Republics, at the republics request. Although as the Dawnikan Empire grows ever larger… the pact shrinks.

Gith Empire

The Empire is in a state of war with the Gith, they initiated the war in 18,430 with the attack on Drayos. Since then, they have conquered Astria, Bastial and Kronos from the Gith.

The Netheraán

The Empire has no ties with the Netheraán, but have recently captured planets near their territory, namely Dastria. It is only a matter of time.

The planet has a small moon called Istria, which houses most of the cites of the empire excluding the total capital of Dawn which resides on the main planet. The planet is surrounded by a ring of rock and debree called the fracture, which has been weaponized in some way.
